3. Liga

The 3. Liga is a football league which is the third division in the German football league system and was founded in 2008 with its first season being the 08-09 season. It sits above the Regionaliga and below the 2. Bundesliga. The record champions are 1. FC Magdeburg and VfL Osnabrück who have both won the title two times each.
