Germany women's international player Felicitas Rauch has left VfL Wolfsburg after five years to play for North Carolina Courage in the NWSL.
According to reports, both clubs agreed a mutual termination of the player's contract in order to facilitate the move to the USA.
A contract with North Carolina Courage has been signed until 2025.
Rauch currently has 36 caps for her country Germany and started their first game of the Women's World Cup in 2023 against Morocco.
In a statement about her time at VfL Wolfsburg, Rauch said: "I would like to thank VfL for four and a half wonderful, exciting and exciting years. The club felt like a home from day one."
