Harry Kane played for Ridgeway Rovers, Arsenal, Watford and finally Tottenham Hotspur throughout his academy career.

In the 2009-10 season, Kane appeared twice on the bench for the Tottenham Hotspur first-team. He signed his first contract with Spurs in July 2010.

In January 2011, he moved to Leyton Orient on loan for the rest of the season. During August 2011, Kane made his first appearance for Tottenham, starting in a UEFA Europa League qualification round against Hearts.

In the winter of 2011, Kane and Ryan Mason agreed to join Milwall until the end of the campaign. He scored nine in twenty-seven in the Championship to be named Milwall's young player of the season.

He spent the pre-season before the 2012-13 season with Tottenham and featured against Southend United (scoring a hat-trick). In August 2012, he came on for Sandro in the Premier League for his league debut.

In August of 2012, he spent another season on loan but this time at Norwich City. He only managed three Premier League appearances though for the club and was recalled in February.

Following this, he was sent to Leicester for his final loan move and played thirteen times in the Championship for them during the rest of the campaign.

In April 2014, Tim Sherwood gave Harry Kane his first Premier League start in a 5-1 win against Sunderland and the Englishman managed a goal in this tie.

The following league season, 2014-15 Premier League season, was a breakout campaign for the striker as he bagged 21 goals in 34 league appearances as he cemented his spot as a starting striker in the Tottenham team. For his performances, Kane won the PFA Young Player of the Season.

In the 2015-16 season, Harry Kane gained his first ever Premier League golden boot in scoring 25 goals for Tottenham.

During the 2016-17 Premier League campaign, Kane won yet another Premier League golden boot as Tottenham Hotspur finished second in the league.

In the 2018-19 season, Harry Kane ended his infamous August goal drought by scoring against Fulham. Later in the same season, Kane marked history as Spurs made it to the Champions League final and Harry Kane returned from injury to start in the game (where Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0 in the final).

During the Covid-19 effected 2019-20 season, Harry Kane struggled with injuries and didn't manage thirty appearances for the second season in a row in the Premier League and as a result, he only managed 18 goals that league campaign.

The 2020-21 Premier League season was another successful one for Kane as he won the Premier League golden boot once again.

The 2021–22 season was preceded by a dispute over a desire by Kane to leave Tottenham, saying he had a gentlemen's agreement with chairman Daniel Levy that would allow him to leave in the summer.

He ended up not leaving and still managed 17 strikes in the league that season.

During his final season with Tottenham, Kane managed a personal high of 30 Premier League goals and unfortunately still managed to finish as runner-up in the race for the golden boot as Erling Haaland had a record-breaking season.

In March 2023, he became England's all-time top goalscorer.

Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur agreed a deal for Harry Kane for a fee of €100 million plus €10 million in add-ons.

With 20 goal participations and 15 goals in 10 games he broke several Bundesliga records.

As of 2024, he is England's all-time top goalscorer and is also Tottenham Hotspur's all-time top scorer.
