St. Pauli are expected to sign centre-midfielder Erik Ahlstrand from Halmstads BK soon, with midfielder Marcel Hartel apparently leaving in the summer.
St. Pauli are on the hunt for a new midfielder seeing as Marcel Hartel, a star player for the Millerntor-side, is out of contract in the summer of 2024.
The former 1. FC Köln player has seventeen goal contributions in eighteen games for St. Pauli this season.
Ahlstrand, a twenty-two-year-old Swedish international, made twenty-nine appearances for Halmstads BK last season and had eight goal contributions in the Allsvenskan.
He currently has a market value of €800,000 and is rumoured to be moving to St. Pauli for around €500,000 with the club looking at spending around that amount for the player.
He made his debut for Sweden in 2024 against Estonia in a win.
