Germany faced the Netherlands with a lineup consisting of ten Bundesliga players on Monday night, but elsewhere there were also other Bundesliga stars in action.

Jamie Leweling goal on debut secures Germany win

VfB Stuttgart's Jamie Leweling finally scored the only goal of the game in the 64th minute against the Netherlands following a disallowed goal in the first couple of minutes and a shot being blocked in the 28th.

In goal for the first time for Germany, Oliver Baumann made a good fingertip save late on to keep a clean sheet. He remains the oldest player in the Germany squad at thirty-four-years-old.

Loïs Openda goal not enough for Belgium victory vs France

Loïs Openda nodded home a Timothy Castagne cross following a well worked move just before half time, this goal being awarded via the help of VAR.

A number of ex-Bundesliga players in their side, France brought on both Christopher Nkunku and Marcus Thuram in the 74th and 93rd minute respectively.

Willi Orban keeps clean sheet in absence of Péter Gulácsi

Willi Orban secured all three points and a clean sheet despite not being alongside his long-term goalkeeping servant Gulácsi of RB Leipzig.

The Hungarian goalkeeper was not included in the latest Hungary squad, however his former midfield compatriot Dominik Szoboszlai made sure that Hungary would not miss him with a brace against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
