Sky Germany reports that Eintracht Frankfurt's Jessic Ngankam has passed a medical check and is set to move to Mainz 05 for the rest of the season on loan.

Jessic Ngankam is set to move to Mainz 05 until the summer on a loan deal without a buy option, Sky Germany reports.

Frankfurt are willing to loan him out in order for him to get more game time with Sasa Kalajdzic having joined in January on loan from Wolves.

The twenty-one-year-old joined Eintracht in the summer following Hertha Berlin's relegation during the 2022-23 Bundesliga season.

Without a goal so far this campaign, 17th-place Mainz will hope he is able to have an impact in their fight for survival.
