Ahead of Germany's vital UEFA Women's Nations League semi-final clash with France, defender Giulia Gwinn spoke to SportBild ahead of the game.
On Friday, Germany women's play their first game of 2024, against France in the Nations League.
The winner will proceed to the final and win a place in the Olympics in Paris this year (France are already qualified).
When asked why Germany will make it to the Olympics in Paris, Giulia Gwinn said: "Because as a team we are burning for the Olympics! Horst lives it for us - and we want to fulfill our dream just like his!
When asked about why she is so confident from the penalty spot, Gwinn said: "The national team does not have any designated penalty shooters. It is important that you go up to the spot with confidence. I know my corner in advance and don't worry about it at that point."
Germany women's play France at 20:00 GMT on Friday and viewers who live in Germany can watch the game for free on ARD.
