Asked how he would turn around the 1-0 deficit from the first leg, West Ham coach David Moyes said: "It's a big task but we have done it before and hopefully we will do it again. We have played Freiburg three times this season now. We have to try and get a victory from it."

Also, Freiburg sit in eighth in the Bundesliga, level on points with Hoffenheim in seventh (the Europa Conference League spot).
Vincenzo Grifo has been one of the most impressive players for Freiburg this season, he has fourteen goal contributions in the Bundesliga this campaign.
However, Michael Gregoritsch is the highest scorer for the German side in the Europa League as he has five goals this season.
Lastly, before the West Ham tie, coach Christian Streich said: "West Ham's quality is brutal, but our team has great character. We have so many players with great competence. I'm very happy and I'm really looking forward to this game."
