Freiburg head into this Thursday evening tie with a huge boost following a positive 2-2 draw in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

Jarod Bowen has been a standout player for West Ham and has netted fourteen goals in the Premier League. This is Bowen's highest ever tally in a single top-flight campaign.

West Ham are currently seventh in the Premier League and are only two points off Manchester United in sixth.

However, defence has been an issue in the league as West Ham have conceded more than any other top half side.

Lastly, during the group stages, only Bayer Leverkusen (three) conceded less than West Ham's four goals conceded.
