Timo Schultz Announced As New 1. FC Köln Manager

1. FC Köln have announced this morning that Timo Schultz is the new Köln manager this season following the departure of Steffen Baumgart in December.

The new FC Köln manager has managed St. Pauli from 2020 to 2022 and FC Basel most recently in 2023.

On Thursday morning, Schultz will lead the training at Geißbockheim for the first time.

Sporting director Christian Keller said: "In the coming days, weeks and months, a big task awaits us to ensure class retention in the 1st Bundesliga to realize. We are very pleased that Timo Schultz will lead the way in this task in the future as the responsible head coach.
