VfL Bochum have parted ways with their head coach Peter Zeidler after just one point out of seven games in the Bundesliga this season.
Zeidler has the lowest points per game ratio out of any coach at VfL Bochum in the last ten years. Also, only one side has scored less than Bochum's seven goals this season in the league.
Bochum were also knocked out of the first round of the DFB-Pokal by 2. Bundesliga side Jahn Regensburg as they lost 1-0 away in August to the promoted side.
The new appointment of a manager will signal their fourth different coach this year following Thomas Letsch and interim coach Heiko Butscher.
