Borussia Dortmund's former star Marius Wolf has now joined Augsburg after his contract expired with the Champions League runners up this summer.
The twenty-nine-year-old spent six years from 2018 to 2024 at Borussia Dortmund during which he enjoyed back-to-back loan spells at Hertha BSC and 1. FC Köln from 2019 to 2021.
Now, a deal until 2027 is said to have been signed with Augsburg.
He played in six games last season as the club reached the Champions League final, but he crucially lost his place in the starting lineup to Julian Ryerson.
In 2023, he also made five appearances for the Germany national team.
