Bayer Leverkusen have continued their series of three games without a win in the Bundesliga with a draw against Bochum. This time out, Alonso's side conceded in the 89th minute in dramatic fashion.

Koji Miyoshi was the hero for Bochum, who currently sit in 18th and have only two points this season, as he fired in his first goal for Bochum.

For Bayer Leverkusen, this has confirmed the gulf in quality between them and league leaders Bayern this season as they sit nine points below the "Rekordmeister" in the hunt to defend the Bundesliga title.

Following the game, Lukas Hradecky was furious with the goal conceded late on as he admitted "it was a shit goal to concede" whilst speaking to Sky Germany.

Also, Xabi Alonso said "like the weeks before, we couldn't close out the game and lost a goal at the end again. We needed more in the second half."
