Having won a clean sweep of Rookie of the Month awards in the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen's Victor Boniface is on Arsenal's radar as they look to get an out-and-out striker.
Currently suffering from injury, Victor Boniface may be missing from Bundesliga action until April.
The player has had seventeen goal contributions this season and, in line with Mikel Arteta's playstyle, his build-up play is something that Arsenal deem a very important quality for their striker to possess.
At just twenty-three-years-old, Boniface set the Belgian Pro League alight with eighteen goal contributions in his debut and only season for Union Saint-Gilloise.
With a market value of €40 million, the young Nigerian will not come cheap however Arsenal are accustomed to spending big on players from the Bundesliga as they signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for over €60 million from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.
Boniface is also rumoured to be a big Arsenal fan and this may help the Gunners to secure a deal.
One last point is that it is unlikely (due to his injury and Bayer Leverkusen's title challenge) that the player will leave before the summer transfer window if he decides to leave.
