Following a late 92nd minute equalizer from Omar Marmoush, Eintracht Frankfurt drew 2-2 against Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. Kevin Trapp gave his thoughts after the tie.

Eintracht Frankfurt were one-nil down very early on in the game thanks to Wolfsburg's Maxence Lacroix heading the ball into the net at the far post.

Following this, Eintracht Frankfurt's Philipp Max equalized around ten minutes later as new signing Hugo Ekitiké ran into the box providing him with a lay off which he was then able to finish.

Just under ten minutes before half-time, another new signing contributed but this time for Wolfsburg as Kevin Behrens finishes a neat outside of the boot pass from Joakim Maehle.

In the dying embers of the tie, Omar Marmoush netted an equalizer in the second minute of the eleven added on in the second fourty-five.

In an interview following the game, Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp said: "On Thursday we had to take quite a big hit (in the Conference League) and we fell behind after only two minutes today a lot has gone wrong in the past few days."

He added: "This showed the will in that we are alive and that we want to win and that this was a step in the right direction."

Lastly, on the topic of the fans reactions, Trapp said: "I cannot understand that the Gegentribüne starts to whistle in the 60th minute.:
