Futmo's preview of Eintracht Frankfurt's tie Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Conference League round of 32, including predicted lineups and where to watch in the UK.

Eintracht Frankfurt lost three games and won three as they finished second in group G of the Conference League. They currently sit level with the Belgians on aggregate following a 2-2 draw at the Stade Joseph Marien.

This is Eintracht Frankfurt's first ever season in the Conference League however they won the Europa League during a historic 2021-22 season.

Since the inception of the rebranded Europa League , Eintracht Frankfurt have never been knocked out at the round of 32 stage of a European tournament.

Dino Toppmöller's side currently sit sixth in the Bundesliga and have 33 points.

Eintracht Frankfurt are without Phillip Max who missed training with illness and Saša Kalajdžić who has a cruciate ligament tear. Due to eligibility, Donny Van De Beek will be unavailable as well as Hugo Larsson who has sustained an injury.

Union Saint-Gilloise

Union Saint-Gilloise are currently first in the Belgian Pro League and have assured a spot in the Champions' Play offs this season.

Also, they are eight points off second place Anderlecht in the league.

However, in the Europa League earlier this season, they managed only eight points in a group with Liverpool and Tolouse meaning they were relegated to the Conference League in third place.

In the reverse fixture, they fell behind by two goals in the first ten minutes.

Following this, a 31st minute strike landed them back in the tie. A second-half effort meant that they levelled in the 68th minute through Gustaf Nilsson.

Following this, they managed to hold on to a 2-2 draw for over twenty minutes with ten men as Charles Vanhoutte was sent off in the 78th minute.

Due to injury, Union Saint-Gilloise are without Kevin MacAllister, Fedde Leysen, Kevin Rodríguez and Loïc Lapoussin. Finally, Charles Vanhoutte is suspended for this leg as he received a red card in the reverse fixture.
