Following a late Harry Kane winner, Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel said in an interview he felt that the late win was an emotional one and encouraged the players.

A 91st minute Harry Kane strike was enough for Bayern Munich to earn all three points at home against RB Leipzig.

This win meant Bayern moved within eight points of Bundesliga leader Bayer Leverkusen and it also proved to be their first win in four games in all competitions.

After the match, coach Thomas Tuchel said: "We played a very good first half, and probably missed out on going into half-time with a two goal lead."

He added: "The second half was a bit complicated because RB Leipzig played stronger and we couldn't shut off the gaps in the midfield like we did in the first 45 minutes."

Regardinf thelate Kane goal, Tuchel said: "In the end, if Harry (Kane) doesn't score the goal it's the same game and the same passages during the game but in the end it does make a huge difference."
