1.FC Köln held a press conference this morning ahead of the match away against Union Berlin at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei on Wednesday evening.

In this press conference, Köln manager Steffen Baumgart revealed that a win against Union Berlin would give the club a "positive feeling" ahead of the winter break.

Baumgart added: "That is our plan, that's how we want to start. Union are having a similar season and will go into the game in a similar manner."

He also said: "Everyone who knows the Stadion an der Alten Försterei knows what is waiting for us. The lads have to be ready."
