VfB Stuttgart have extended their current contract with coach Sebastian Hoeneß, who was rumoured to be linked with Bayern Munich.

This contract extenison takes Hoeneß's stint at Stuttgart all the way until the summer of 2027.

He originally had a contract until summer 2025, but this has been extended by two years as the board have been elated with the results of the club under his management.

Stuttgart are currently third in the Bundesliga under Sebastian Hoeneß and are seven points clear of RB Leipzig in the hunt for a Champions League spot.

Hoeneß joins Chris Führich in extending his time at Stuttgart during the course of this season.
