Currently on loan at Galatasaray, Angeliño has been given the green light by the club to terminate his contract to get a move to AS Roma.
In the next few hours reports suggest that AS Roma and RB Leipzig will finalise the deal to bring the Spaniard to Rome.
The player is initially said to be joining the club on loan for the rest of the campaign.
Additionally, Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Angeliño will move to Rome with a €6 million buy clause which can be activated in the summer.
The player first made his mark for RB Leipzig in 2020 on loan from Manchester City where he helped Leipzig reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals and securing two assists along the way.
The following year, in 2021, the player's loan with RB Leipzig came to an end and the club purchased Angeliño for €18 million from Manchester City following a season with ten goal contributions.
However, in 2022, David Raum joined RB Leipzig and with his game time under Jeopardy he joined TSG Hoffenheim on loan (with David Raum going the other way).
In the summer of 2023, Añgelino went on yet another loan spell to Galatasaray in the Süper Lig.
