Bayern Munich's Harry Kane managed to net a late volley to get a valuable and long-awaited three points for Bayern on Bundesliga matchday 23 against RB Leipzig.
Match Overview
Early on in the tie, Bayern Munich's Harry Kane had a huge chance for Bayern Munich as he raced into the box to head the ball at goal.
However, RB Leipzig keeper Blaswich managed to guide the ball onto the post to stop the Englishman.
Later on in the first half, Leroy Sané gets played through by Jamal Musiala but is unable to take the ball past Leipzig keeper Janis Blaswich who scrambles the ball into his possession.
Bayern went into half time controlling a line share of the possession but being unable to create real chances with only two falling for Harry Kane.
In the 53rd minute, Leipzig's Amadou Haidara manages to test Manuel Neuer for the first time but the keeper was able to gather it with his palms.
Minutes later, RB Leipzig's Xavi was unable to properly test Neuer with another attempt for Leipzig.
During the 56th minute, Harry Kane finally fired Bayern one-nil up in this tie firing a the ball into the bottom corner following a Jamal Musiala assist.
In the 70th minute, RB Leipzig's Benjamin Šeško shot towards the bottom left corner but due to a Leon Goretzka deflection, the ball hits the opposite corner and wrong-foots Manuel Neuer to level the game at 1-1.
Just ten minutes later, Bayern's Harry Kane heads the ball over the bar from close range.
Lastly, in extra-time, Kane finally gets that second goal he was looking for as he turns and volleys the ball past Blaswich following an Eric Choupo-Mouting pass.

Harry Kane was brilliant once again today and that last goal proved his class. Despite missing a few chances, the ones he scored showed that he has a ruthless eye for goal and is by far Bayern Munich's best player despite a somewhat poor run of form for the Bavarians.
