According to Bild, Justin Diehl has agreed the details over a free transfer over to VfB Stuttgart for the summer following efforts from 1. FC Köln to keep the player.

Justin Diehl fell victim of the ex-1. FC Köln boss Steffen Baumgart's refusal to play him as he wanted to leave the club.

However, under new coach Timo Schultz the nineteen-year-old has gained six appearances in the Bundesliga.

In heartbreaking fashion, he had to be forced off the field in under five minutes against Bayer Leverkusen and thus is injured currently.

His contract runs out this summer, and he is worth €1 million according to Transfermarkt.
