With 1. FC Köln's survival hopes looking slim this Bundesliga season, a relegation clause means that Julian (Jeff) Chabot is able to leave the Billy Goats for €4 million.
At only twenty-five-years-old, Chabot made himself a mainstay in Köln's defence last season under former coach Steffen Baumgart.
With four appearances for Germany's under-21s, Chabot is not only a brilliant defender but also has an even higher ceiling.
Rumoured with both Premier Legue and Bundesliga clubs in October, the defender nicknamed "the Bouncer" has been one of Köln's best performers this campaign.
Yet to score for the club, the player initially joined on a loan deal from Sampdoria for the 2022-23 Bundesliga campaign and signed permanently last summer.
