Hamburger SV's 2. Bundesliga home match against Hannover 96 was suspended on a temporary basis this evening as the away fans tied themselves to the goal.
Hannover 96's Ron-Robert Zieler was broadcasted hopping over the advertisement boards to try and mitigate the away fans' behaviour.
The decision by the fans to conduct this protest was one undertaken in response to Hannover's decision to vote in favour of the DFL investor proposals.
The game ended 4-3 to Hannover and Hamburg finished the game on nine-men following two red cards.
This result means Hamburg remain second but are only one point off Holstein Kiel and two points off Greuther Fürth in third. Both teams are still yet to play this weekend.
