Frankfurt hosted Hoffenheim at the Stadion am Brentanobad in Frankfurt on Sunday afternoon.
Both the games between the two sides last season ended in a draw.
First Half:
Winger Julia Hickelsberger put "Die Kraichgauer" ahead early on in the 4th minute.
Hickelsberger ran past the goalkeeper to put the ball into an empty net narrowly making it in before the defender got back.
Later on in the half, Eintracht replied with a goal of their own through a Lara Prasnikar shot following an attempt just moments before hitting the bar from a Laura Freigang header.
The first half ended with a deserved scoreline and both teams having big chances at either end.
Second Half:
German international Nicole Anyomi gave Frankfurt the lead early on in the 47th minute through a neatly finished bottom corner shot.
Both scorer Nicole Anyomi and star player Laura Freigang came off in the 89th minute following brilliant performances from both.
Late on in the 91st minute, Striker Shekiera Martinez scored from a Carlotta Wamser cross to make it three for Eintracht and killed the game off.
This result means Frankfurt move up to 3rd in the Frauen Bundesliga in their hunt for a UEFA Women's Champions League spot.
