In an interview with mopo.de recently, former Hamburger SV captain David Jarolim said "HSV is a better address than Torino" for rumoured transfer target David Zima.

David Zima has already played 19 international matches for the Czech Republic and has also made 15 European Cup appearances with his former club Slavia Prague.

In this interview, David Jarolim also said: "David Zima is reliable, very fast and has a good header game. He has also gained a certain amount of experience in his career."

Zima joined Torino FC for €5.9 Million in 2021 and it is reported that Torino will only let him leave for that same amount.

With Hamburg currently third and only two points off the top of the 2. Bundesliga with a match against Karlsruher on the weekend, Zima is a perfect candidate to get them promoted.

Hamburg, however, will have to move quick as the transfer window closes in little under a week.

Hamburger SV: David Zima Saga Continues

With HSV's 2:0 victory against Schalke 04 and Torino not willing to negotiate too much further, it remains a doubt whether HSV will get Zima this window.
