With the club looking for more attacking talent, Brentford are said to be monitoring Hoffenheim's Maximilian Beier who has a reported release clause around €30 million.
With six goals this season and Brentford's striker Ivan Toney reportedly drawing interest from other clubs in the Premier League, Maximilian Beier has been shortlisted for the club.
With a contract until 2027, an acquisition of Maximilian Beier would most likely occur in the summer with Hoffenheim keen to keep the player to finish out the season.
In October, the player signed a contract extension with Hoffenheim which included the release clause.
Under coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, Beier has blossomed into a complete striker and has been scouted by Germany's national team and made five appearances in 2023 for the under-21 team.
