Borussia Dortmund remain unbeaten in 2024 but they'll want to bounce back from a draw last weekend. In contrast, TSG Hoffenheim are winless in eight in the league.

Match Overview

Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund are in fine form this year and are unbeaten in all seven matches in all competitions.

However, consecutive draws against Wolfsburg and PSV in both league and European competitions respectively mean they'll wish to bounce back.

Seeing through an uplift in form, Dortmund's Niclas Füllkrug has scored six goals in six games during the Rückrunde.

Edin Terzić's side also have an excellent record against Hoffenheim and have won seven of their last eight games against "Die Kraichgauer".

Their last tie against Pellegrino Matarazzo's side ended in a 1-0 victory in the second round of the DFB-Pokal.

TSG Hoffenheim

TSG Hoffenheim suffered defeat to Union Berlin in their last match following a first half which saw two red cards for each side.

Unable to score for only the second time this season in the Bundesliga, a poor showing meant they lost 1-0 to the bottom half side.

Despite this, they have still been able to count on skipper Andrej Kramarić who has scored eight goals this season and recently salvaged a point against Köln through his late equalizer.

Team News

Dortmund are without Sébastien Haller still due to an ankle injury. Both Gregor Kobel and Guille Bueno will miss the tie due to muscular and knee injuries respectively.

Felix Nmecha will also miss the game with a hip injury. Alongside this, Niklas Süle remains a doubt due to illness.

Grischa Prömel is still injured for Hoffenheim and will miss the tie with a knee injury. Joining him in being injured are Mergim Berisha (knee injury), Bambasé Conté (illness) and Marco John (knee injury).

Also, Stanley Nsoki is serving a suspension following the red card he received against Union Berlin.
