Ahead of Bayern Munich's clash with VfL Bochum, French defender Sacha Boey has sustained an injury and will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Today, Bayern Munich's Sacha Boey has been confirmed injured with a large tear in his hamstring.

Boey joined Bayern for €30 million in January from Galatasaray.

Since then, he has made two appearances in the Bundesliga and has played 109 minutes in the league.

Bayern's ever-growing injury list now includes Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Konrad Laimer and Alphonso Davies.

The Bavarians are currently five points from first-placed Bayer Leverkusen.
