In an interview for the FC Bayern Munich media team, Leroy Sané spoke about his incredible form this season.

The Bayern winger has eight goals and eight assists this season and only trails Harry Kane for total goal contributions in the Bayern squad.

He is currently the top assist maker in the league as well as being the second-highest German in the league behind Undav (nine goals).

In the interview posted on the club's website, Sané spoke about the pressure at the club: "The pressure at a club like FC Bayern is much too high to be able to rest on your own performances. On top of that, there's still a long way to go this season.

Speaking about how criticism, Sané said: "In periods when you're under criticism, you always want to do well and win even more. It's important not to get tensed up by it. Instead, you should show the opposite reaction: if you put yourself under too much pressure then very little comes off."

Finally, Sané notably spoke about the European Championships next year and said: "We obviously all sense that the euphoria isn't really there yet among our fans – for understandable reasons. We all want to do everything to make the tournament a similar success to the home World Cup in 2006, when the sporting situation also wasn't the best in the run-up."
