Bayern Munich face RB Leipzig in a must-win game following last weekend's defeat to Bochum. In contrast, RB Leipzig also need a win on Saturday to aid their Champions League hopes.

Match Overview

Bayern Munich head into this tie on the back of three straight defeats in all competitions.

With the announcement of Thomas Tuchel leaving in the summer, this week has been a chaotic one for the Bavarians. However, they would hope that the German coach can turn around their fortunes in the coming weeks.

In his hunt for Robert Lewandowski's goal scoring record, Harry Kane will surely be someone who can cause Leipzig troubles.

The Englishman has netted 25 goals this season so far in the Bundesliga (including a penalty against RB Leipzig in the reverse fixture).

Ahead of the tie against Leipzig, Tuchel said: "It's a really difficult match. The recent results against Leipzig speak for themselves. Leipzig have a lot of things that can hurt us."

For Bayern, some hope can come from RB Leipzig's home form as the side have only won one of their last six away games in the Bundesliga.

On a streak of five consecutive games with a goal, Loïs Openda is one of the most in-form strikers currently in the Rückrunde.

Since their heavy 5-2 loss at the hands of VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig have won two games out of their last three including two 2-0 victories against struggling sides Borussia Mönchengladbach and Union Berlin.
