With Bayern Munich's Bundesliga clash with Bayer Leverkusen fast approaching, both Dayot Upamecano and Joshua Kimmich have crucially returned to team training this week bringing a huge boost to the Bavarians.

Despite Dayot Upamecano and Joshua Kimmich making their return to team training this week following injuries against Union Berlin, Manuel Neuer was missing during Wednesday's training.

Earlier this week, according to reports, both Kimmich and Upamecano took part in an individual training session away from the team together which focused on work around the football as opposed to the individual running training from earlier this week.

New signing Bryan Zaragoza, who is recovering from the flu, was also missing from training this week.

Another glimpse of hope for Bayern in this injury crisis is the potential return of Kim Min-Jae from the AFC Asian Cup granted he takes part in Bayern Munich's training in the coming days.
