Köln have been stung once again by injuries as their top scorer and striker Davie Selke is out for the rest of the season with injury to his foot.

Davie Selke currently has six goals in the Bundesliga this season for Köln, despite missing games from January through to March with injury to his foot.

He was substituted in the 68th minute for Luca Waldschmidt in the home win against Bochum. On Monday, an MRI scan found the left foot was broken once again.

The German player will sit out the rest of the season as the medical department of 1. FC Köln will fix the fracture the break in the left foot through surgery.
