Today, Bayern Munich Frauen have confirmed that Lena Oberdorf will join them in the summer from VfL Wolfsburg on a contract until 2028.

The Germany international midfielder Lena Oberdorf has signed a four-year deal with Bayern München Frauen from VfL Wolfsburg.

In doing so, it is believed that Oberdorf rejected the opportunity to join Chelsea women's.

Bayern Munich are reported to have activated the twenty-two-year-old's release clause which was believed to have been €400,000.

This transfer makes her the most expensive German women's player of all time as well as the fourth most expensive players in the history of women's football.

The youngster has four goal contributions already this season in her nine appearances for the Wolves.

Making her debut in 2019, Oberdorf has already achieved fourty-four appearances for the Germany international women's side.
