Bayern Munich Frauen look close to signing Lena Oberdorf from VfL Wolfsburg women's. This shows serious intent around making a run in Europe next year for the Bavarian giants.

Lena Oberdorf only has one year left on her contract with VfL Wolfsburg frauen.

In a bid to gain some funds through selling the twenty-two-year-old before her contract expires, VfL Wolfsburg have offered her out to multiple clubs.

These clubs are rumoured to include FC Bayern Munich women's and Chelsea women's with the first of the two being the ones most heavily linked to the signing.

Oberdorf is currently rumoured to have a release clause around €250,000 to €275,000.

Should this release clause be activated by Bayern Munich, Lena Oberdorf would become the most expensive German female football player ever.
