When speaking to media recently, VfL Wolfsburg's Sporting Director Ralf Kellerman revealed that getting games in large stadiums is key to growing the Frauen-Bundesliga.

Kellerman said: "The clubs are challenged to continue to move to large arenas for selected highlight games."

Also, Kellerman spoke about how this tactic works even in the games which aren't so attractive sporting-wise when talking to the Deutsche Presse-Argentur.

He also referred to the game held in the Weserstadion (Werder Bremen men's stadium) where 21,508 spectators watched the game versus Köln in the stadium which was the previous high in this season.
