When speaking to the media at 1.FC Köln, newly-signed midfielder Sofie Vendelbo revealed in an interview her experience of joining the club.
On the 4th August 2023, it was revealed by the club that they had signed the player from KRC Genk.
Since signing, Vendelbo has made four starts and had seven overall appearances for the club in the absence of skipper Manjou Wilde through injury.
Later on in the interview, she revealed: "I come from Denmark, a smaller country. Here in Germany there is a better league and everything is much faster. I'm glad I'm here and playing."
