TSG Hoffenheim veteran Andrej Kramarić managed to score yet another goal against 1. FC Köln, this time during extra-time to give Hoffenheim a 1-1 draw in the Bundesliga.

Match Overview

The Bundesliga tie between Hoffenheim and Köln started somewhat slowly, with the sides sharing the possession (Hoffenheim having the line share of the ball).

Early on, a half-chance fell to Jan Thielmann but the shot was too tame to trouble Oliver Baumann.

In the 13th minute, the previously Köln-linked TSG Hoffenheim striker Ihlas Bebou sent his shot wide much to goalkeeper Marvin Schwäbe's delight.

Following this, only two more chances fell before half-time. Both of these attempts were taken by Wout Weghorst but the ex-Manchester United striker failed to score.

Weghorst's first attempt was stopped by an excellent Marvin Schwäbe parry as it looked destined to go in from the tight angle.

After half-time, Köln stepped up their tempo just a notch with Faride Alidou taking the ball past Stanley Nsoki with pace before the defender made a last-ditch challenge to prevent the danger.

Next, Bebou provided Hoffenheim with yet another good chance through a turn followed by a weak shot towards Marvin Schwäbe which he was able to save.

Later on, in the 79th minute, Köln's starboy Max Finkgräfe stood over a free-kick around thirty yards from goal and buried a fantastic attempt (securing his first Bundesliga goal for the senior team) past Hoffenheim's Baumann in a dead-set goal of the month contender.

Due to the earlier stoppages due to DFL protests, the referee decided that a colossal seven minutes would be added on.

Within the fourth minute of stoppage time, Köln's kryptonite Andrej Kramarić netted a scrappy goal to put a dagger through the heart of the Müngersdorf side.

Stunning. Max Finkgräfe's strike today showed why so many of the Domstadt's fans are resting their hopes on the young full-back. Drawing comparisons to Köln legend Jonas Hector, the nineteen-year-old has been a top performer under Timo Schultz.

Despite not winning today, no one can put any blame on Finkgräfe for the goal conceded seeing as was substituted off the pitch before this.

Whilst 1. FC Köln have already dubbed their other full-back Benno Schmitz the "Kölsche Cafu", it is fair to call the young German full-back Finkgräfe the "Kölsche Roberto Carlos".
