Jamal Musiala scored in the 75th minute to put Bayern Munich ahead 2-1 versus Freiburg. A late Lucas Höler goal meant this wasn't enough for a win as it ended a 2-2 draw.

Match Overview

Bayern started the game on the back foot, with Freiburg looking dangerous throughout the first ten minutes.

In the 12th minute, Freiburg captain Christian Günter scored a world-class strike with a volley from outside the box.

Just five minutes later, the captain was denied another goal through a Manuel Neuer save.

During the 23rd minute, Vincenzo Grifo had a brilliant chance but was unable to bend the ball in the corner.

Over ten minutes later, youngster Mathys Tel (handed his first start of the season) scored to equalize for Bayern with yet another superb strike.

The half-time break left the score at 1-1, but with Freiburg having the line share of chances.

In the first quarter of the second half, Bayern dominated possession (60%) and had a chance in the 63rd through Harry Kane but he was unable to score.

After racking up several chances, Jamal Musiala finally put Bayern ahead through his usage of his quick feet to move past the defender in the box and slot it home.

However, Freiburg managed to have the final say of the game with Lucas Höler scoring a great goal to equalize and make the final score 2-2 late on.

Man of the match

SC Freiburg- Lucas Höler

Lucas Höler had a fantastic game and ensured that an inconsistent Freiburg side got a well-deserved point. His physical presence in the box haunted the Bayern defence the whole game.
