With ACF Fiorentina's hunt for a winger continuing, they have shown some interest in acquiring Ruben Vargas from FC Augsburg for that position.

According to reports, ACF Fiorentina are looking to make a deal for Augsburg's winger Ruben Vargas. The player has a deal at the club until 2025.

He has reportedly already agreed on a contract until 2028 verbally and the reported fees are around €5 to 8 million (depending on bonuses).

Vargas originally joined Augsburg in 2019 and scored a crucial penalty for Switzerland in the penalty shootout against France in a Euro 2020 victory.

The player has made one goal and an assist in fifteen appearances for Augsburg this season.
